The Open-Air Museum is full of exciting surprises. A guided tour will give you the chance to learn all about handcrafts, architecture, customs, animals and nature. Treat yourself and your clients to a fascinating journey into the past, ideally while accompanied by one of the experienced Ballenberg guides.

Our guided tours in English, German, French or Italian last two
hours. The cost is CHF 11 per person (without entrance fee, minimum CHF 180 per guide/guided tour, maximum 25 people per group/guided tour). Please book well in advance.

Guided tours with special themes:
Historical pharmacy and medicinal herb garden, architecture, stages of life (birth, marriage, death), children’s world, a glance behind the scenes of the Museum. Our specialists and experts guide you through the Museum.
Duration: 2 hours (maximum 20 people)
Price: minimum rate per guide/guided tour CHF 250.- (without entrance fee)

La Chocolaterie du Ballenberg:
Find out all about chocolate, its history and traditional production methods. Watch little goodies being made and take some home with you.
Duration: 45 minutes (groups of up to 16)
Total cost per person: CHF 15.—
per group (minimum): CHF 210.—
