Our Swiss Open-Air Museum mini and maxi packages promise a unique, entertaining experience for groups. Explore the museum’s historic buildings in the company of a knowledgeable, expert guide and enjoy some culinary specialities.
Our mini package consists of a one-hour tour of the Ballenberg site. Accompanied by our tour guides, you can take a peek inside parlours and bedrooms, and experience a typical day for a family in times past. At lunch, you’ll be treated to a delicious meal of your choice at one of the Ballenberg eateries. The mini package price includes a guided tour, admission to the museum and lunch (excluding drinks).
With the Ballenberg maxi package, you can explore the Ballenberg site with our knowledgeable, expert staff in the course of a two-hour guided tour. Take a peek inside parlours and bedrooms, experience a typical day for a family in times past, see what’s growing in the vegetable garden, and find out more about the crafts of our ancestors and their ingenuity in the face of scarce resources. During the tour, you can enjoy a bite to eat at one of our tasting sessions, where you can try all sorts of Ballenberg produce. Then, at lunch, you’ll be treated to a delicious meal of your choice at one of the Ballenberg eateries. The maxi package price includes a guided tour, admission to the museum, a tasting session and lunch (excluding drinks).

For groups of ten people or more, professional drivers and tour guides get free entry to the museum. Vouchers for lunch at one of our restaurants (main course and non-alcoholic 500 ml drink) are also available at the entrance.
Our carriages can transport up to 22 people. We recommend a reservation for groups.
