At the start of the season, winegrowers from Valais and Ticino visit Ballenberg to attend to their vineyards and to prune the vines. Guests can watch this fascinating work, ask questions and sample Ticino and Valais wines and delicious raclette and ticinese salami.

The Valais vineyard is located at the East Entrance, right next to the Chapel from Turtig/ Raron, Valais (1131). The vineyard from Ticino can be found by the dwellings from Cugnasco, Ticino (841).
