Although our historic houses and craft demonstrations will not reopen until Thursday 15 April 2027, a visit to the Ballenberg Open-Air Museum is well worth it over the Easter holidays from 26 to 29 March 2027. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the beautiful grounds and experience nature coming to life amidst the unique Ballenberg scenery.

The Gasthof Wilerhorn, located at the east entrance to the Ballenberg Open-Air Museum, will be open from Good Friday to Easter Monday 2027 and will be serving a brunch buffet. From 9.00 am to 3.00 pm, you can look forward to homemade meat and bread products from Ballenberg, homemade jams, regional cheeses and dairy products, and a hot buffet featuring roast meat, ham and meatloaf, jam, Bircher muesli and other treats to get your day off to a great start.
